Love the flexibility of this application, you can customize the views of every area. Photos and different file types.

Program can crash under very heavy use.

Organization of thousands of files and photos. Being able to categorize and sort by type, rating, metadata etc. have really helped.

I love how it integrates with the rest of the Adobe line of products. It's a must have tool for anyone using anything Adobe!

None that I can think of. I'm sure there's something that others could think of that could be fixed but I use it everyday and have had no problems since it's first release.

Bridge allows you to work more efficiently and seamlessly when designing. The ability to see graphical image of each file alone is a reason when use it for an artist!

I love that you can easily preview photos and documents without having to actually open them. This is especially useful for seeing indesign and illustrator files without having to open the actual files and wait for them to load. I use it for both home and work. At work it's nice to be able to use when looking for certain pictures to use in advertising or to scan through ads that we've already done to find one we could possible use again or use as a template. At home I do a lot of photography. It's great for when you do a photo shoot and can quickly scan and put pictures side by side to decide which one is best. Bridge also lets you tag and color code your files to easily organize them. When you ad these labels you can quickly sort to each of the label groups. Bridge also allows for easy upload from DSLR's and memory cards - adding in all sorts of metadata that you'd like, such as copyright information for your business. Another fine feature is being able to re-name all of your files quickly and easily with a few clicks of a button - in seconds you can have thousands of photos re-named. It's also nice being able to just drag and drop files from the Bridge window to any other window for upload or image placement in another Adobe program.

When I'm uploading photos from my DSLR camera, there isn't a way to say that I only want the newest photos that I took today (or newest photos since the last upload) to be uploaded. The only way to pick photos is to individually click each one that you want, but when you take hundreds of photos that's just not something you want to sit and do. I tend to leave a lot of photos on my memory card and it always tries to upload all of them, I always have to watch it and hit cancel when I start seeing photos I from a previous shoot. Also, the magnify box that pops up when you click on photos is hard to get rid of sometimes. It can be annoying and distracting when you accidentally make it pop up and can't get rid of it.

Being able to view files without individually opening them in the finder window is a huge time saver.

Bridge provides essential asset management and coordination among the Creative Suite/Creative Cloud applications, allowing previews of all file types (including video), keyword and other metatdata management, and is the hub of a full design workflow. It is also deeply integrated with the Adobe design apps, handling global color settings, editing of raw digital images and automated image export through Photoshop. Bridge allows for sorting, viewing, rating, labeling and categorizing graphic and video files in a number of different ways that make it a constant companion to any design workflow.

It has been somewhat neglected until recently, and good tutorials on its use are few, making it harder for beginners to learn and effectively hiding a great deal of its usefulness.

Digital asset management for single designers or workgroups is a constant problem which Bridge addresses with many different tools. The ability to view, manage and track files with Bridge greatly increases throughput in a work week.

I like this program cause it's easy way to make a contact sheet with all your images.

I only like the old version CS5.1 The new version of Bridge doesn't have the same features as the old one

Its a good way of showing images per sheet.

Keeps track of files, images, and just about any other digital content I use for creating projects within a CS application. Easy to use. Keeps me organized.

The only supported image export format is jpg. Searches are limited to assets listed within Bridge. Needs better template support.

I like how easy it is to rate, organize and rename files. Also the editing tools are awesome.

I really have no complaints about Bridge.

I can rename files quickly and sort and organize footage. It really helps my workflow go faster.

Tagging photos with keywords to find exactly what I'm looking for among a large quantity of photos.

It's a small detail, but I'd rather the interface not be as customizable so I don't accidentally move something and not be able to find it later.

I'm able to tag all the photos that volunteers give me and later find what I need to post on social media.

The auto button when editing photos in camera raw. Most of the time, it gives a good base before final edits.

That a shortcut for it is in the InDesign File menu. I always click it on accident.

It helps work flow. Speeds up my batch editing process.

For me, it's is best for organizing illustrations that I create in Illustrator. It works well for photos too.

I'd like more support of other vector file formats such as CorelDRAW, Xara, SVG (from Inkscape), etc. Bridge is an Adobe product, and thus only supports Adobe output.
